I Still Remember!!
I was scanning through older posts on my blog and I went to my page "About Me, Testimonies" and saw my last post "Set Free". I started reading about the dream I had and when I got to the part about never forgetting the angel's I saw the face. All the sudden I had a picture flash in my mind of the angel's face and that dream. I could feel and see everything that happened in the dream, its all picture clear. In my post "Set Free" I wrote that I would never forget the angel's face and a year later I haven't forgotten.

Should Christians Celebrate St. Valentine's Day
Should
Christians participate in the celebration of St. Valentine's Day?
Most would answer,” Why wouldn't they?” Why not, one would say,
Valentine's Day is a celebration of love. People might say
Valentine's Day is a celebration of love, but what kind of love?
In
the Bible, Jesus says to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
What kind of love should you have for your neighbor? Is it the same
kind of love people share on Valentine's Day? Around Valentine's
week, commercials and advertisements convince people to buy their
product. Such as,"Send a special one a bouquet or a box of
chocolates." If you really think about a person, send them an
unexpected gift.” Do we need to name a day were we have to buy
something for someone. This is not the kind of love Jesus states in
the Bible. Jesus wants us to have Godly love for one another.
There
are many types of love, but only one TRUE love. People share
brotherly love, such as giving to the poor or sending an uplifting
card to senor citizens. There is true love, and unconditional love.
True love is the love a committed husband and wife share. True love
is expressed through commitment or covenant with someone.
Unconditional love is the love God has for us. God's love is shown
through forgiveness, blessings, correction, mercy, and grace. This is
the love Jesus states in the Bible.
Love
expressed on Valentine's Day is a counterfeit love. Competition
partakes in this event. Let's say you take your wife on a picnic, in
you living room, by candlelight. Your friend takes his wife to an
expensive restaurant. The wives might get together to see whose
husband gave the best gift, or took them to the best place. Another
example, let's say children in a school class compete to see who has
the best gift. A child might come with a handmade card. Another might
brings boxes, in the shape of a heart, full of chocolate. The first
child might feel their gift is worthless, compared to others.
Competition takes part in this holiday.
If
you truly love someone the way God loves us, why show off on a
specific day. Express your love everyday. Godly love is the only true
love.

The Book of Proverbs
Last month, for each day I read one chapter of Proverbs in my Bible. The book of Proverbs speaks of wisdom and why we should desire it. Proverbs 1:7 says,"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instructions."
There is a difference between knowledge an wisdom, wisdom is understanding how to use our knowledge. Proverbs speaks of the benefits of wisdom, in Proverbs, Solomon personifies wisdom as a female who cries in the streets to reach out to people.
"The purpose of Proverbs is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise." Proverbs 1:1

Questions: What happened in the Great Flood?
In this devotion we discussed the flood God sent to destroy the earth. Read and learn what learned about the flood.
What happened in the Great Flood?
God will punish, bless, forgive, and supply. The day Adam and Eve sinned, every child they had were sinners. The moment the world fled with people, the world fled with sinners. People were so wicked in their doing. The Lord was furious, so He choose a man named Noah to do something great. God instructed him to build an ark, because of Noah's obedience God saved Noah and his family. God made a rainbow to show that he would not destroy the earth with water. Next time God will destroy the earth with fire.

Deliberation and Decision
On Sunday 7, 2010, my pastor Bishop Bronner preached on deliberating and the meaning.
Verses : Joshua 9:15
Deliberation is true wisdom when you realize what the future consequences are of your current decision. With every decision you make, there are consequences. When you are in a situation and have to make a big decision ALWAYS I mean ALWAYS deliberate with God and ask Him what should you do. Also, when making a big decision take a nap. If a man asks for your hand in marriage, take a nap and rest . Ask and DELIBERATE with God, say," is this your will for me." Seek the counsel of God. Your decision will only be as good as your information. Sometimes when you make the correct decision, you will feel as if you made the wrong decision. I remember three years ago I was in fourth grade(I was in public school), the boy in my class was so cute I thought he liked me. During Valentines week , he asked me if I liked him. He also asked my best friend if she like him, and he would give her his lunch money, if she said yes. Some kids told the teacher what happened, my teacher asked my friend if it was true. I didn't want to tell because he was so cute. I didn't want him to think I was a snitch(a tattle tale). The day before, mom and I were talking about that boy and we were talking for a long time. While the teacher asked me to tell the truth, I remembered the talk dad, mom,and I discussed. I told the truth, but I felt horrible with the friendship with him. Even if I made the right decision. Every decision you make, there is a consequence.
When you make a decision.........DELIBERATE WITH GOD!!

Questions: What are the effects of Sin today?
What is the Remedy for sin?
Since the day Adam and Eve ate the fruit, sin has taken place everywhere. Everyone born in this world is a sinner. God gave us ten commandments to obey. People in this world are disobeying them, sinning against God.
What are the effects of sin?
Some effects of sin are children dishonoring parents, murders, thieves. Many other things, God hates sin so much, I can't imagine how he can still love us after the sin we commit in our lives.
What is the Remedy for sin?
God has a cure a remedy for sinners. If we bow down and worship Him, accept his Son as our Lord and Savior. Jesus will cleanse us from our sin, we will be set free. God promises many things that will satisfy us. Peace, Tranquility, Everlasting love, Life , and Satisfaction. With Christ we overcome temptation, and any trick or plan Satan implants in us to sin. Think of this as a chain, as my daddy explained it to me, Adam and Eve are now sinners, then sin of parents are carried down to the children.

Questions: What happened in the Garden of Eden?
How does that effect us today?
In today's devotion we discussed about Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Everything God created was good, including man. Adam and Eve were made in the image of God. Adam and his wife were free to do anything they pleased, the had power over everything. There was one thing God told them specifically not to touch, the tree of life.
What happened in the Garden of Eden?:
One day a serpent cane to Eve and tempted her to eat the fruit of the tree. After Eve had ate of the fruit, she gave it to Adam , her husband, and ate of it. After they ate of the fruit they acknowledge their sin, and hid from God. God asked them and gave them a chance to tell the truth if they had eaten of the tree. Yet they blamed each other.
How does that effect us today?:
God cast them out of the garden, and told them they had cursed their generation of children with sin. That effects us today because we are born of sin, and evildoers. I thank God that he sent his son to die for us, and cleanse us from our sins.
