This page is about how my life is in homeschool. I will talk about how we live and our daily routine. We have our ups and downs but the life in homeschool is awesome.





Hello,

I have 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. I am homeschooled with my 1 brother and 2 sisters. When my mother told us we were going to be homeschooled, I was happy. I thought homeschooling would be kind of easy and fun. I was wrong, I thought my mother was trying to be hard on us, I was learning things that my teacher in school didn't even teach. I believed that my mom was a hard teacher. As we were going through the third month, I started to see that she was right, she wasn't wrong, my teacher just hadn't taught the stuff I needed to now.We are now in our second year of homeschool. I am so blessed to have my mom.


Here is our daily routine:

 1.Recite the Pledge of Allegiance
 2.Recite the Sinner's Prayer
 3. Recite our Student Declaration
 4. Begin our Morning assignments
 5. Mom leads our way through the day.
  




Well my siblings and I are going to be in school soon (March 15). I am excited, yesterday we just finished shopping for uniforms. I 'm wasn't very happy when Mom said we were going to be wearing uniforms(last year). I guess, know I've learned to accept it. I will be in the 7th grade,(probably learning 8-9th grade work) but I am excited. We are going to be changing things up this year. I took my S.S.A.T test and did allright. I am going to be focusing on reading and writing more this year. We are moving on to higher math, I am happy, I am praying this year becomes better than we expected.



We are on a roll ad we are striving to continue everyday. I LOVE homeschool very much sometimes it is hard, but we make it through the day. This year we have a break every 6 weeks, on the 7th wk were off. This is the 6th wk, next week will be on break. On Friday the 22th of April it will be my brother's birthday. He will be turning 10, this year.

We have been changing things up a bit these last few weeks. My family and I have been coming up with schedules. Before we created a schedule, we used wake at 7:00am or whenever we want, but now we agreed to wake up at 6am in the morning. I like this new schedule because we are responsible for a task that we must complete, there's always something to do. Mama has been coming up with the school schedules. She has created a syllabus for my siblings and I to follow. so whenever she is at her desk trying to assign work, we don't have to sit and wait for to give us something else. Now we are on a roll. God is giving us such creative things to do. My favorite part in the morning is waking up and thanking the Lord for a new day, and waiting for devotion to begin.

The last few days my brother, mother and I have been practicing for the SAT Test we are next year. My brother and I have been taking practice tests just so that we can feel how long we will be taking the test.
   The test is 3 hrs and maybe 45 min. So far our grades are great for a seventh going on eight grader. My mother says the highest score to past is 1500, I made a score of 1203on the first test, but I will do so much better. We didn't really have test taking strategies, so we sometimes guessed on problems. At first I thought my brother and I weren't ready for this test because some of the problems on the test were complicated, then my mom told me that this is a test to see how much you know. Last Saturday we took the test again I made a higher score, I scored 200. Although we are getting better and better and definitely more prepared.
