I Wasn't born Knowing God

My life didn't start with knowing God, my family was living in sin, we knew very little about God or read the bible. That all changed when my memaw came to visit. When she drove here it was about five o' clock, and I was wondering why was she here, all the way in my room I heard praying, I f you ask me I was surprised  that my parents were even praying. When I heard my memaw's voice, I knew something was going on. That's the day when we were introduced to God.

I knew God, what I didn't know was that we had to be saved (well I did know, I didn't focus on it). Until I went to summer camp we focused on God and praised him. My counselor took time to sit and talk with me, she asked me do I want to be saved, I said," Yea sure,"  All I have to do was believe in my heart that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and that he died on the cross to save my sins. I was saved July 5, 2009 I am so happy.  I am now in fellowship with him for the rest of my life.
